Maintenance Technician 1^st Shift

   My client, located in Newton, North Carolina, is looking for Maintenance Technicians to join its team. This is a 1st shift position. Excellent benefits package included.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Certification or training in mechanical, electrical or related curriculum preferred.
• Experience with Material Handling equipment, forklifts, lift trucks, Boom/Scissor lifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on all production equipment; perform general building maintenance; install and relocate plant equipment; preventive maintenance. 
• Maintain electrical system; wiring for machinery; install new services to equipment. 
• Read/interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manual and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Trouble shoot and repair electrical problems on production and support equipment. 
• All other duties as assigned.
